This is a quick overview of the essential steps when fitting an NTI-tss. For a safe and correct fitting please refer to and follow the
detailed instructions for use shipped with every kit of NTI-tss.
For your convenience we have also added a

1.Check passive fit of the NTI-matrix over the central incisors.
|
2.Make sure the discluding element makes exclusive contact with the opposing incisors.
|
3.Take approx. 10 ml of thermoplastic material
|
|
|
|
|
4.Heat the material in a hot water bath
|
5.Wait until the material gets transparent and reaches a homogenous consistency.
|
6.Insert the material directly into the NTI-System.
|
|
|
|
|
7.Fit the NTI-System over the patient’s central incisors and position it correctly.
|
8.Remove the NTI-System as the material starts to get opaque, after 4 or 5 minutes.
|
9.Remove excess material.
|
|
|
|
|
10.Round sharp edges and the NTI-tss for maximum patient comfort.
|
11.Replace the NTI-tss over the dentral incisors and verify correct and firm fit (“clip-on effect”).
|
12.Make sure the NTI-tss is comfortable for the patient and correctly positioned.
